Stock Audit iOS App  ·  Last updated: April 2026

Short version: Stock Audit does not collect, store, or share any personal data with us or any third party. All data stays between your device and your own server.

1. Who We Are

Stock Audit is an iOS application for conducting physical inventory audits. It is designed for use by businesses that operate their own inventory management backend server. The app is published as an individual developer application on the Apple App Store.

2. What Data the App Handles

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

All inventory data (product names, stock counts, audit results, valuations) is fetched from and sent to your own server only. The app acts purely as a client interface; it does not retain this data independently.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Stock Audit does not:

4. Your Server and Your Data

Because you supply the server URL yourself, all business data processed through the app is governed by the privacy and security practices of whoever operates that server — typically your employer or your own organisation. We have no access to, visibility into, or control over data stored on your server.

Please ensure your server is secured appropriately (HTTPS, access controls, regular backups) in line with your organisation's data protection obligations.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally (server URL, last username, and session cookies) can be removed at any time by:

Audit records on your server are managed entirely by your server administrator. The app provides a Delete Audit function that sends a deletion request to your server, but whether data is permanently removed depends on your server's implementation.

6. Children's Privacy

Stock Audit App has been rated Age 4+ by Apple, meaning its content is appropriate for all ages. However, the app is a business productivity tool that requires an organisation-issued server address and login credentials to function. It is intended for use by employees or administrators within a business context, not by children independently.

As described in this policy, the app does not collect any personal information from any user — child or adult. If you believe a child has accessed the app using credentials they should not have, please contact your organisation's administrator to revoke that access on the server side.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
